A kitten heel (sometimes simply called a kitty heel) is the heel on a woman’s dressy shoe that is short as well as slender. In order to be a kitten heel it must be no higher than two inches (five centimeters). Most kitten heels are anywhere from one inch to two inches high and sport a “slight curve setting the heel in from the edge of the shoe”. The kitten heel is often considered to be a type of stiletto heel and many types of kitty heels have a sharp pointed toe which only adds to their sex appeal.
